Steak Trinchado

Ingredients

  • 500g Steak (Ribeye, sirloin...)
  • 1 French Loaf
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 60ml White Wine
  • 250ml Beef Stock
  • 3 tablespoons Nandos Peri Peri Sauce
  • 125ml Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinade steak in soy sauce for a few hours.
  2. Fry onion then add garlic and tomato paste.
  3. Add ~60ml white wine and cook it off for a bit.
  4. Add beef stock and bring the sauce to the boil.
  5. Add bay leaf, Nandos Peri Peri, Worcestershire sauce, and cream.
  6. Thicken the sauce with flour if needed.
  7. Cook the steak and cut it into cubes, then place the steak in the sauce.
  8. Serve with French loaf for dipping.
